Checks and Balancessubmitted on 2004-10-10 by shawn

Arrogant.

That's the one word I would say most describes George W. Bush. In the first debate, he actually said that Vladimir Putin's recent actions to centralize control over the Russian government were dangerous because Bush believes that government should have checks and balances.

Checks and balances would have kept Bush out of the White House.

Checks and balances would have impeached him.

Checks and balances would have him arrested and placed in the Hauge next to Milosovic.

George Bush thinks no one remembers his trajectory to the Presidency. How else can he disparage John Kerry's decades of service in comparison to his single terms as governor and President? How else can he talk about Kerry's 20 years in the Senate yet refuse any questions about his life more than 15 years ago?

How can he joke that he wants the Supreme Court to vote for him?

How arrogant must you be to make those kinds of jokes and think Americans are going to laugh along with you while the nation is on the precipice of disaster?
