You can (and should!) participate in online polls. Many polls are conducted in
such a manner as to not truly represent the voice of Americans. What's worse is
that these polls are then turned to by politicians as proof positive of the will
of America.
We should be listened to, but one way for our government to truly know our will
is to participate in polls.
